Kitchen Decorating (paint) help!?
We live in an apartment complex that has as it's kitchen whitish/grey lanolium floors, Light brown cabinets, white countertops, and white stove/dishwasher/stove light. Our complex will paint our walls whatever color we want so we are trying to figure out a color. White clashes because of all the white in the kitchen. What would be a good color to paint the kitchen that will go with all the white (including the white trim) and also not clash with the brown cabinets?? Send pictures if you have them, or can find any online. Thanks!

- This may sound odd, but I would go with a nice, rich aqua blue (blue-green--like the ocean in the Caribbean). That may seem a little bold at first, but it will work well with white and brown. Then I would accent with aqua and amber (deep gold) accessories/art to tie it all together.
- A nice yellow will look great, but you have to be a yellow person. Go with a lovely banana theme!
- What about a peachy beige, like Sherwin Williams' "Buckram Binding?" http://sherlink.sherwin.com/swapp/color_visualizer/index.jsp Here's a link that has heaps of ideas for kitchen decorating: http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/dc_design_kitchen/0,1792,HGTV_3375,00.html
