Good Kitchen For 3 Yr Old?
Her birthday is coming up next month and anytime we go to the children's museum she runs straight towards the kitchen area and mocks cooking and cleaning. She also spends most of her day at daycare in the kitchen area making stuff for the other kids. My question is does anyone know a good kitchen set to get? I saw the Dora Talking Kitchen, but it seemed to be very small to me. Any ideas?

- Anything made by Little Tikes is durable, easy to clean and the kids enjoyed it. I tried to steer away from things that took batteries and made more noise than 4 kids already make. :) If you want something that will last and has a good resale value go with little tikes.
- there's a new little tykes commercial that has the kitchen that talks. it looks neat. i think it's called little tykes smart kitchen? i also have seen the disney princess one that looks like a pink castle and has a cooking book with different recipes that each princess talks about.
- We got the Disney Princess kitchen with the talking recipes. It came with some pots and pans that sound like they are cooking when on the stovetop. She loves it and is always bringing us some food when it's done. Good luck finding one you'll like. There are several out there...I'm sure she'd like any, but how can you beat a kitchen...and princesses at the same time?
- Stick with Little Tikes or Step 2 in your decision making. They aren't made in China and you won't have to be concerned with recalls or possible lead poisoning.
