  1. yes
  2. I used a small firm. They didn't have a showroom or anything, but I could view other kitchens that they had fitted and get feedback from other customers. The same guy came and designed it to my requirements and fitted it with one other fitter and supplied the plumber and electrician. I paid when the job was finished and I was happy with the work. Six years on and it's as good as new. I'm thrilled with it. I hope this helps and wish you the best of luck. x
  3. I am not based in the UK, but I'm sure some practises are pretty standard. We usually pay a deposit 30% on signing of a contract, and depending on the size of the job of course, 40% on delivery, 20% on completion of installation of cabinets, and balance as a cheque post-dated to 5 days after. Of course each company varies this a bit, but that is how the one I deal with most frequently does things. Good luck with your new business!
  4. ummmmmmm i have no clue lets just say i cant have a have a kitchen
  5. I had a kitchen fitted this year ... I chose the kitchen I wanted at Howdens and got a company to puchase it for me and fit it ... and I paid for it on completion. The company was called Hooks and I highly recommend them ... I'm in South London.
  6. neither...i built my own from scratch.
  7. Unfortunately I got my kitchen from B&A - supply only. Worst thing I ever didn. Certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Bits missing, damaged items and replacements not forthcoming. What a nightmare. good luck with your new company
