Who makes a good home / office wireless security camera that can record video or be viewed via the internet?
I'm looking to set up a couple of wireless camera's at my home and home-office. I would like it to detect motion, capture video when motion is detected, view remotely (if I'm away from home).

- Any webcam will answer, and some video camcorders have a 'streaming' function. What you're looking for is the software to translate the cam's video stream to a site so you can view it remotely. Have a look @ this: Secure Cam is a motion detecting web cam surveillance software that can automatically capture a series of images whenever motion is detected in the monitored area. You can adjust the detection sensitivity, automatically archive captured still images and playback the images in sequence with the supplied viewer application. - I strongly recommend both Linksys and Dlink Internet Cameras – the DLINK DCS950G and Linksys WVC54GCA are great entry level IP security cameras that will get the job done. They should cost between $100 to $150 US dollars. More advanced (and expensive) models add features such as Pan and Zoom – nice to have features, but not must haves. If you already have a DLINK or Linksys wireless or cabled router, it may be a good idea to stick with the same manufacturer for your Internet Camera as the documentation will provide more specific router configuration information.
