I sent this to a home design program, Why is it easier for me to design a house in the the Sims computer game than it is to use your software? I mean seriously plugging in preset information shouldnt be this tedious. I should be able to type in my room dimensions and the program should generate it, not make me try to match to a grid, when i Need a room of 12' 8" and the snap grid makes it 12'6" or 12' 10". why is that lacking in these programs? just make it so i can type in those dimensions of a premade floorplan and then let me do all the design stuff or putting paint, brick, furniture, the purely visual items. I'm not an architect nor do i desire to be one, but it seems as though it is a necessity for your software. Once again Like I said, Why is it easier to design a house in the PC game the Sims, than it is in your home design software? Does no one have a really dumbed down version of home design? ugh, must i go back to using MS word to create blocks. I am looking for something simple, lol, I just want to be able to plan where to put my furniture in my new house. I have a floor plan on paper, If you know of any really simple programs for this I would be appreciative.
