where is the best price to buy supplies for kitchen remodeling,counter tops,sinks,faucets,granite anybody?

1. First decide what you want, then check out the wholesale places. They may also be called surplus. Another possibility might be an auction if a business is "going out of business". We remodeled our kitchen by watching for things to go on sale or clearance and buying them then. We found the best price on countertop at Home Depot since it had to be cut and made to size. Bought the sink on clearance at Lowes (had a slight scratch), faucets (look at the clearance rack to see what is last years model), countertop - special order return might be a possibility. The cooktop and wall oven were clearance at Lowes and Sears. We bought items for 6 months before we remodeled and saved over 50% on most of the items.
2. Well I am near Las Vegas and here the wholesale places are a joke. I am an electrician, A/C tech among many other things. I have price hunted for remodel jobs, kitchens, and whole house... Recently Home Depot has been beating every other place by 2 to 10 %... even as much as 25 % on some electrical items. They have a great variety but I have to buy some of my stuff at the other places though because they are limited in those areas.
