2. I used to be a major customer of the Home Depot, but due to the continuous decline in their product selections and qualitys I have been going to Lowe's lately. One thing I can convey to you regarding any home center, do not purchase their laminated countertops as they are all pretty much garbage. Regarding solid surface tops like Corian or Granite their all about the same. If you're seriously considering a solid surface I strongly recommend you look at Silestone which is an epoxy based quartz product that supercedes granite in appearance and durability. Now, as for sinks and faucets you need to spend alittle extra here to get any quality. If you choose stainless steel for a sink, just make certain that the you purchase a heavy guage steel.
