kitchen remodeling ideas?
We want to remodel our kitchen. Is there a site to send pics to to get someone's opinion and ideas? We will be doing this project ourselves.

- I don't know of any site, but put your pics on here, I'd love to help! I'm planning on being an interior designer. I'm in a class right now, and we're learning about all this now.
- go to the hgtv site and there are thousands of ideas.
- In order to get true color, wood and tile ideas for your kitchen you really need to go into a store to see them. The internet never has been able to show good color matches. A Home Depot or Lowes kitchen center can help you for no charge. There you can put woods, tiles and counter chips together to see if it works for you.
- Not aware of website for review of your kitchen. Magazines are a good source of what is current as far as trends,etc. I always start with basics such as location of appliances. If you are relocating sink,refrig,dishwasher,stove, range hood. Make sure you are not creating a big problem for yourself. Although I don't deal with the big box stores for cabinets, I do suggest for you that you stop in a pick up some of the free literature on planning/designing your kitchen. Electrical outlets,lighting also are primary concerns. Good Luck
