Bedroom design help?
I'm a 14 year old girl, and i kinda need help on redesigning&refurnishing, ( more like re EVERYTHING ), my room. I'm not into the preppy, girly things. I'd like something urban, or so you could say 'hip hop ish'. Maybe something with Frisco in it, like the bridge. Something with music. Something with bright colors. I'm in need of websites that'll let me design my room virtually, or sites with a wide variety of bedding, furniture, etc, that'll help me get my .. 'dream room'. I'm also into shoes [Nike Dunks & Jordans & sometimes Vans].. I'm an exceptional artist, so I could vamp up my room a bit, but I still need some sites to help me get the things i need. Any suggestions? Thorough answers will get full stars, and of course Best Answer. Don't worry about being the first to answer, =D

- DEFINITELY check out wakeupfrankie.com. They have an amazing selection of urban bedroom ideas. The website has a section with theme ideas that are really nice, and about a hundred ensembles and stuff for your bed. it's a nice website. I know you said you don't like the preppy stuff, i'm not into all that either, but pbteen.com (pottery barn teen) might have some accessories you'd like. Most of the bedroom stuff is girly and preppy, but like i said, some of it might tie into what you're looking for.
- sooo i think u should start w/ a style/theme lst. u stated something urban/Frisco.. I don't know about websites that would let u design u'r room w/ furniture but there r sites for paint. that give u their OWN pix & u can try colors out... http://www.sherwinwilliams.com OR http://www.benjaminmoore.com almost all the paint sites do. Now u need to pic a design/print of either bed cover or curtains or pillows then go on that so try... http://www.target.com OR http://www.overstock.com OR http://www.lillianvernon.com OR http://www.walmart.com c if u find something that u like NOw pick 1 or 2 colors from that & do u'r walls. U can paint a scene to make what is going on or something of that nature. Then pick a 3rd color & use it mainly for accents thru out u'r room w/ some of the lst 2 colors as well. don't forget rugs/cushions/frames/lamps/shades/valance/paint a headboard if u don't have one... cubes for organization/etc.. Look at things a bit different to use & B creative & have fun!
