A question for UK residents: is it worth its price?

brought a laptop for £400. Toshiba 17" Widescreen Laptop pentium t2330 RAM Memory 2048MB Hard Disk Capacity 160 GB CD DVD DriveType Super Multi DVD Writer Built in 1.3 megapixel camera Modem High speed 56K Connection Ports 3 USB 2.0, 1 VGA port, 1 RJ11 modem connector, 1 RJ45 ethernet connector, S-video TV out, 1 headphones-out, 1 mic-in OS: Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit Network Interface: Ethernet 10/100BT integrated network interface Wireless Technologies: 802.11b/g WLAN so is this good/bad laptop and above all is it worth its price? does it sound any good to you? Can I install office 2003 on this vista laptop? and what other things shall i install when opening up and booting up for first time? security programs, free software etc? shall i acitivate my standard warranty? should i register for this? any ideas?

  1. Yea, thats a very good laptop for its price. Yes you can install office 2003 :) Erm.... Download AVG (a free anti virus), Comomdo (a free firewall)
  2. VERY GOOD...u can install office 2007 or 2003dont bother installing all the other crap..it often just cloges ur ur pc
  3. yeah thats a great laptop for that price, it will easyily handle office, get NOD32 antivirus, ad-aware and spybot that will cover the protection side of things then just install what ever else you want/need Photoshop CS3 will run easy on that system as well.
