Remodeling Bathroom Help - Wainscoting or not?
I need some in put on an idea I have for my bathroom. Please tell me your opinions... When you walk into the bathroom you stare right at the shower which has a medium blue color to it. To your right is a wall, to the left (working your way from the door to tub) is a closet, vanity/mirror, toilet and then the tub. The vanity is white as well as a cupboard above the toilet... I would like to add white Wainscot bead boarding to the right wall, paint dark brown above the boarding and then accent with brown towels. My floor is the same medium blue as the shower walls. Good idea or not?

- Good Idea, the brown will be the anchor and soften the eyes. You may even want to forget the wainscoting and just have the wall brown with white and blue towels. Same goes with the guest towels on the sink. the left side is busy and the right side is not. simplify the right side so they balance out the white.
- Funny, I put Wainscoting on my bathroom wall, and I use Brown towels! I like the idea, and think it would look great!
- It sounds like it will have that designer look. I would suggest a great picture just above the shower. It will pull your eyes up, so that you aren't staring straight into the shower itself. Wish we could all see it when you are finished. :)
