Bedroom design? Does anybody know of any really good websites where I can design a bedroom online... kind of like a virtual bedroom site? I am trying to plan a design for my room!
does anybody know any good ideas for bathroom and bedroom design? I am completly re-decorating my bathroom and bedroom and was wondering if anyone has any good ideas. I wanted to do them in more of a modern design. So anybody know of any good websites for bathroom and bedroom designs? Any tips on how to design a bedroom? I'm going to be moving in to a new house and I'm getting the biggest bedroom. I need some tips on how to design it. I want it kind of futuristic so I want bubble everywhere. My favorite colors are pink and white so I want white walls with pink accessories. I was thinking of making all the bubble pink. how should i design my bedroom? i'm 20 and i just bought my first apartment in NYC, and i need to design my bedroom (my roommate is doing the rest of the apartment). i want to do light blue on the walls, and i have some nice light green furniture, so i want to use those two colors-but what accent color could i use? i hate purple and i don't want to use pink. and also, where can i get a cheap comforter or duvet, its for a queen bed.

Do you like this teen bedroom design idea? okay i would pant the walls an apple green, but not too bright and then a solid white comforter and i light yellow rug and then on the bed i would have all different pattern and colored pillows? do you like this idea i am 15 so yeah any ideas to make it better? im not sure about the white comforter but i cant find anything else and theres a bright color on the waalls and i guess the pillows would make the bed more lively?
Country bedroom design pictures? My mom is redoing her bedroom and I am helping. She has a solid oak built-in headboard surround and bedside tables. There is also an oak built-in dresser/cabinet/tvshelf area. She is wanting 3 tan walls and the headboard wall will be a country red. There are 3 windows - one small on each side of bed and one very large on wall opposite the door = LOTS of light. She likes the deep red, and is interested in black and white check. Wants something fresh, not ruffled and fluffy or too busy. I need pics and ideas to help her make decisions. Know of GOOD source for ideas & pics?

How do I design my bedroom with an Alice in Wonderland theme? I will be getting a new bedroom in a few months and it is about medium size and I would like the decorating theme to be Alice in Wonderland. The Disneys movie and the scene where alice is in the Golden Afternoon Garden. You know, with the big flowers and mushrooms etc... I have a loft bed and they might build one of those ebcesses windowd where it goes out and theres a window seat. I also have a dresser that is raw wood so I can paint it or stain it. My bed is a light pine wood but I cannot stain or paint it.... sooo.... any ideas to decorate my room? Any I can start now before my room is built?

Whats an affordable way to design my bedroom to make it more comfortable? Where can I find the best help with color and design for my bedroom? I really want to try my hand at decorating my own room but I don't know where to even begin. So any opinions, ideas, or knowledge on design that you are willing to share would be GREATLY appreciated. I cannot decide on an overall theme, but what I have is a room about 12x10 feet with ordinary beige walls and a kind of tan-ish multiloop berber carpet. I don't know what color would be best to paint the room, but I think I want to leave the ceiling beige. There are a lot of orange, gold, and blue hues already in my room, and I think it would be best to find a theme that brings what I have already in here together. I just have no idea how to do that. Bedroom ceiling looks like when first painted it had a design of little points sticking out. Help! I hate it! The design on my bedroom ceiling is horrible. Before we moved in someone put a design on it that looks like when the paint was wet they got this idea of making little points sticking out all over the ceiling. Can someone please tell me how I can remove this. I don't want to scrap it off because It will be to messy to do. I need any good suggestions. Fixing this room would make me feel so much better.
Is my design idea for my bedroom good and how can I make it better? I just moved into a new apartment. I'm having furniture delivered from Ikea that is black/brown, all with squared edges and simple lines. (Malm, Mikael, & Expedit) Walls are currently (and will probably stay) white. I want my design to be simple Japanese/Asian meets colorful beach house. Bedding, wall decorations, and accessories are to be colorful (think the color wheel from elementary school). By keeping the the colors to bedding and accessories, I want to be able to alternate it with a more zen-like/earth tone style whenever the mood hits me. Would this design work? What colors should I concentrate on or avoid? Is there other advice you might have to make this space amazing?

Bedroom design? I am thinking about redecorating my bedroom but I have no idea what I want to do. I am in high school so I want something fun and interesting but not over the top. I kind of like modern victorian style things and my intrests include music, writing, and reading, but if you have any other cool ideas I would love to see/hear about them-- pictures would be greatly appreciated! When I said modern victorian, I meant the designs with the victorian patterns but with bright, bold colours and lines-- sorry if that confused anybody, I'm not very good with those kinds of words :)

Beach Cottage bedroom design ideas? My fiancee and I have just bought our house, a cape. The Master bedroom is pretty large and has pitched ceilings. I'm looking for paint and design ideas so the room is beach cottagey and comfortable to make a relaxing and romantic space. Outside of white, what paint colors should I use and how should I implement them on pitched ceilings? Should I paint the walls up to the point that they start pitching or the pitch as well? Bedroom / Kitchen design software? My brother in law has just started his own business, he fits custom kitchens and bedroom cupboards etc. He would like to design them first on the computer to give the customer a view of how it will look like when finished. We have tried other home design softwares, but they are too complicated and take to long. I am looking for a simple software where we can just set the sizes of the cupboards and the positions and get a 3D view of it. Also i would like to be able to upload specific cupboard designs on to it e.g. colour, patterns, wood grains etc. So if you know of any good software for this please let me know. bedroom design help? bedding/wall colours? last night my mom and I went to Sears and we bought this bedding set for my sister (she's 18): http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/3585/scan0001ms1.jpg (but it's a lot more yellow in reality) and... although I LOVE it, she thinks its ugly because of the birds on it. We also bought this one for my bedroom (I'm 15): http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51U127HrI7L._SS500_.jpg (but it's a lot more purple in reality) Now, of course, my sister hates the one that we bought her, even though it goes PERFECTLY with her bedroom set and it looks wonderful. Now I'm reconsidering if I should keep the purple one that i have, because my walls are also lilac and it's a lot of one colour. I only bought the purple because it's my favorite colour and my mom and I agreed to repaint my room yellow, but now she doesn't want to spend the money on paint. Now my room looks really odd because I have cherry wood furniture (it's pretty much red), lilac walls, and lilac bedding. should I take my sisters bedding and paint my room yellow? or ... what do you think? ANY suggestions welcome. also, on the cherry wood furniture, it has black swirly metal rod on it. thanks! (I'll rate 5* to best)
bedroom design help.? okay i'm 14 and in to crazy things. my bedroom has been the same since 5th grade and i am getting it redone for my birthday in november, so i need to start picking the things i want now. i origionaly started with a zebra print comforter and hot pink walls, now i am kinda in to red. if any one can please find some cute comforters in twin size, not too expensive and something that would go with me. i am outgoing and love bold and crazy colors. as for a theme goes i was thinking hollywood or an era. like 80's or something. the answer that most fits me will get 10 points. i really need answers so help pleasee. thanks!! my walls are painted purple now so nothing purple. pink is okay not a huge fan, just okay.
Bedroom Design....Help? OK...So I want a new DIFFERENT look for my bedroom....I have black and silver furniture and it kind of reminds me of China...lol anywyas I was thinking... The current room: http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y22/moody07747/Other/Me/My%20Room/ I'm planning on adding two recessed lights, taking out the bed at the right when I walk in the room, probably will take out the desk..., and will end up painting the room a different color...I'm thinking blue. I got a new bed tonight, the old one was about 15 years old and was starting to sag at the middle and so along with the new bed will come a new set of sheets to match the new room design. I'm into TV production a lot and a TV/movie theme room would be awesome, some posters of high end camera gear, some stand mount lights for looks..could get expensive...but how about a green screen? those are neat. Anyways electromagnetic fields don't bother me...I live around computers all day, work with them all day, and sleep next to one most of the time. The green screen wall does sound a little much for color but I think im sticking with the TV production theme. I should also add I'm a guy so no pink, pink is the evil !!! LOL I'm not crazy about the yellow....but new things never look how I think they would until you try them I guess...

What kind/style of bedroom furniture has a "fan" design on it? Hi, I don't know if this is a stupid question, but you know how there are various styles of furniture? Like contemporary, traditional, transitional, and even more specific categories like shaker or mission style, etc...? Well, what term is used to describe that traditional style furniture with a fan design etched into the wood (like on bedroom dressers, chests, etc..)? I saw it once online and the store used a term (like shaker, missionary, but not those) to describe it and I completely forgot. I thought maybe someone who knows a lot about furniture styles would know. I'm pretty sure there is an actual name, like how houses are Victorian or Colonial or modern, etc... If a furniture is made of mahogany, has a broken arch pediment top, a fan design, and ogee feet, what is it?
