Home Wireless Security camera interference w/Network? I just bought a wireless security camera system for home. The signal is transmitted via 2.4Ghz signal to the receiver which is output to the VCR for recording. Problem is that it knocks out my internet wireless network which is also running on 2.4Ghz. Is there any way to work around this? My only option I can think of is to plug all my PCs via ethernet cable.
Home Wireless security cameras I am planning to install (Security Camera Wireless) outdoor. 1- Is there something call (UHV). 2- What kind of product should I get that doesn't be affect with other frequencies (mobile, radio)?
Is there a wireless security camera like this? i want to set up a wireless internet security camera at another home where there is no internet available. Is there a self contained camera that I can just plug in and it either sends the signals to a monitor 30 miles away or can send signals to the internet so I can watch over the net?
Wireless home motion sensor or outdoor security camera recommendations? I have a problem with people and friends who want to talk or see me if they can't reach me on my cell to come outside, they resort to the advantage of being able to come to my back door to my room from my side gate to my backyard and banging on my window and door to come outside. And it's been becoming a nuisance lately. More and more often they do it at all hours of the night and day. And sometimes I just don't want to hang out or do anything because I'm usually very tired at the times they want to. I am a fairly new college student who must, like any other student, get his work done on time and needs to focus on the fact that work is always before play. And I can't seem to do that with friends that evidently don't understand that I have work to be finished. So, I was wondering if there is a product available that can alert me from inside my room that someone is walking through my side gate that I don't want to know I'm in my room? I've seen a few products that looked very tempting at Home Depot that is a basic motion sensor that you attach to the wall or whatever location your needing it in, and the other piece plug into an ordinary household electrical outlet that "beeps" or alerts me that someone is coming around back. That seemed very basic and a maybe a solution to my problem. But if there is an outdoor surveillance/camera security system that anyone knows of that is preferably wireless and can deliver the picture to my TV inside, please let me know where I can get one. Please and Thank you all for your helpful answers! Best Answer gets 10 Points!

I have some strange, unexplainable things happening inside and outside my home and am trying to determine what is going on. Question regarding Home Security camera and wiring? I've run cat5 cable throughout the house, which i thought I could use to connect security cameras. I don't need anything fancy (no recording) i just want to be able to use a switcher with a couple of cameras to view who's at the front door from my TV. My question is, can cat5 cable handle what the cables that run video/audio/power to the camera handle? Mostly worried about the power. I don't have power at the camera locations, so I need cameras that can run power through the connecting cable from the switcher. I would like to splice the cable that comes with these cameras and solder the ends to my prewired cat5 cable. I'm just woried that the cat5 cable wont be able to handle the power.... any input is appreciated. (I don't want wireless cameras and am not looking for high end stuff just a basic system)

home security camera system? Hi ! I'm wanting to install a home security camera/DVR system. Good info seems hard to come by. I am temped to try the x10 wireless, (easiest looking solution), and also I do have one location that I would like to include, (outside building), that has AC power, but I can not get a wired (video) connection to . Does anyone have a recommendation between the x10 systems and the bundled systems, (First Security etc, Sams Club), type hard wired systems. Is there a good up to date reference book about this ? I have an attic and cellar, although it's difficult at my age to do much, (wiring/crawling), in the confined attic space. Does anyone have an opinion about image quality/distance transmission of the x10 system ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THANK-YOU in advance for your help !!
Can you recommend an inexpensive home security camera that activates when motion is detected? We have had some trouble recently with someone messing with our cars while we are gone. We want to purchase an inexpensive home security camera, something we can set up outside. But it would have to be motion activated, and possibly be able to view in the dark. I don't know anything about security cameras, and in the process of trying to read up on them, I've just become more confused. We don't have a lot of money, so any inexpensive suggestions would be helpful. They would have to be wireless as well. I don't know how or what we would use to record the video...like I said...I don't know anything about security cameras...any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Which Home Security IP Camera Alert System? Can anyone tell me if there are any good value affordable intruder alert systems you can buy for your home were you don't have to pay a monthly subscription? I was looking at something similar to the AlertMe system but without the ongoing cost and maybe a bit cheaper. Failing that, do you know of any good quality indoor wireless IP cameras with built in server that I could get instead that can also alert you via email or text of any intruders? Is it possible to get IP Cameras with auto iris and vari-focal lens?

Good home security system? Looking for a good home outdoor security system. Should have wireless cameras (4-6) and recorded by PC/TV.
Is this a good security camera for a business? I listened to the Real Deal podcast the other day, and they recommended a Panasonic BL-C131A camera for home video surveillance. But it's cheap and has great reviews! Is there any reason why it wouldn't be suitable for use in a business? It's for my Uncle's business, and he had looked into getting a security agency come in. They estimated $8,000 to set up the system! So, again, what could they do that is SOOOO much better than that Panasonic wireless camera? Here is the camera on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-BL-C131A-Network-Camera-Wireless/dp/B000NVR9SM Thanks for your help :)
Will 2.4ghz wireless security cameras interfere with a 2.4ghz wireless router? I currently run a 2.4ghz WIFI network using this router: http://games.dlink.com/products/?pid=643&#DGL-4500 I am thinking about purchasing and installing a product similar to: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100498016#reviews Will I run into any interference issues? I am mainly wanting to purchase and install the security cameras at my home so I can easily see if someone I know is at the door or if there is someone parked in the driveway.
How do I block or jam hpsetup? It is interfering with my wireless camera.? Does anyone know how I can jam the hpsetup unsecured computer-to computer network? I do not have an hp printer and my wireless card is turned off. The challenge is that I still keep seeing this hpsetup under wireless networks and it is interfering with my wireless security camera. Again, the wireless on my computer is disconnected, but the signal for hpsetup, which is not a signal from my home or from my neighbor's, is making my camera not work properly. Does anyone have any advice to make sure that this signal does not enter my house? Thank you!
How do I secure my new home? Recently moved in to a newly built home in a rural area, right next to a busy road. Recently I've noticed weirdos stopping in front of my home and taking photographs of my property. When I go outside to let them know I can see them, they take off. At nights, there are strange cars parked on the road with their headlights on near my home. I have expensive new cars parked on my property so I am thinking they are planning to carjack them or rob my home. So far I've: Installed a fence around the property. Got a large dog that bark at strangers and will bite if they happen to jump the fence Which is the best wireless security camera that works in the total darkness (there are no street lights here) and that can be broadcast on the Internet? I have a chain linked fence only, so what can I do so they can't see throught it? Any other ideas?
using webcam as security camera? I have a webcam that i would like to use as a security camera in my home. Is there some type of wireless USB adapter i can use instead of running the wires in my home??
Home security? Anyone know of a good security camera? Want one that is wireless, broadcasts over the Internet, can see in the dark and can pan and get tight shots. Anything under $1000. Can you build you own home security system? Installing the cameras, sensors, wires, etc and then connecting it all to a main computer and then set up the wireless alerting devices - notifying you and then the police department? Is this a difficult project but worthwhile since there is no need for a monthly fee that you pay with other security systems?
Home security systems, How to? I'm thinking of putting in a home security system, but unsure of how to go about it. I mainly only want a few cameras, one on the front gate, on on the front path, one over the front door, then one on the back door, then another to cover our carport and cars. I'm curious of the quality of the wireless cameras, i'm inclined to go that way as I don't have a PC, it all needs to be run through my laptop. So, is the picture quality of a wireless cam good enough to be used as evidence? Can you pick out a face? Also, how do the wireless cams connect to the pc? Am I better to run a wired system and build a PC for it? What size HDD should I use? Do most cams come with software?

Recommendations for home surveillance camera systems...? I like the Logitech Wilife system since it wireless, good quality and allows internet access to view what's happening. It's quite expensive, starting at $250.00 for just a single camera. I'd like 4 cameras ideally for security. Would someone kindly recommend a system that's not too expensive, not too hard to install but offers good color images (preferably wireless)? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
Home Wireless security cameras I am planning to install (Security Camera Wireless) outdoor. 1- Is there something call (UHV). 2- What kind of product should I get that doesn't be affect with other frequencies (mobile, radio)?
How Wi-Fi Smart are you? I have 2.4ghz wireless security cameras in my home that interfere with my wireless belkin router. I don't have the option to monitor the security cameras on my computer and really don't want to. Can the frequency be changed on the router, what other options do I have, what can I do?

Need a home security system.? Hi there, Recently I am having my house and car vandalized by people of my friendly neighborhood. I want a security system that has night vision cameras and audio if possible. I want it to download to my laptop, wireless if possible. So I was wondering if anyone knew any brands or could recommend other things I may need. Thanks in advance, DH
I've had it, I'm installing security cameras!? Since last fall, I've been having problems with vandalism, mostly with my truck. There has been five different incidents, (At home: Rock chucked at Front Window of house, Allen Wrench stabbed through passenger-side rear tire; at school, valve stem cut on front driver's side tire, rear passenger-side fender keyed, big dent in top of passenger side front fender). The fender thing happened today, and I've decided that was the last straw. I finally went off the deep end. After getting the dent mostly pounded out, I drove to the Salem Spy Shop and inquired about security cameras for my vehicle. The guy said he had an awesome kit for my truck that contained a wireless camera about as big as half a roll of quarters (hooks up to battery, transmits a signal from 300 feet away), a hidden microphone, and a receiver. The camera is easily hidden and rotates a full 360 degrees. Cost: $90, plus installation. Now that I'm getting this hooked up (Not until next week), what should I do when I finally catch the bastard who's doing it? Sue him, get him arrested, blackmail, beat him up, do something even worse to his car, what do you guys think? I can hide the transmitter in the glove box, it's small enough. What I'd also like to do is get a custom window sticker that says, "Smile, fucker, you're on candid cam!" but I think that just gives it away. What do you think on that? No, nobody else has access to my truck. It has two coded keys, and those are the only keys that work with the vehicle. I keep one set within five feet of me at all times; the spare set is in my fire safe.
Buying a security camera? Im looking to buy a twin cctv setup for my home, a wired black and white setup with night vision would be fine tho id pay the extra for colour and wireless if it wasnt a big difference, anyone have any ideas for a good system, ive seen the 'GET' systems in Homebase and B&Q and they're around the £80 mark tho ive seen systems on ebay from £5 upwards?
older security cameras, hookup and view online? So, I am hooking up some cameras (That have a wireless handheld monitor to view them). however, i want the ability to view the cameras online (so i can view the shop they are in from home, etc.) I'm sure it's possible i just don't know the right equipment, etc. Do the cameras/monitor have to be hooked up to a computer so they can be viewed online? connectors to get, etc. Thank you for any info!
new apartment, have to leave my 8 year old yorkie alone from 8am - 7pm? What should i do for my yorkie? he is 8 years old and extremely spoiled (not in terms of food or taking control) but spoiled in always getting love and always having people around him. He sleeps all day, but he has to sleep at someones feet and has to be around people and has been around people (parents, nieces, and me) for 8 years. Now i'm going to an apartment, and since its my dog, he's coming with me but i feel terrible that he'll be alone all day. What do you guys suggest? maybe keep him in my bedroom so he doesnt go all over the house and leave a radio on or something ? i dont want him to get lonely, but i have no choice. I have a wireless security camera which i'll put in my room to watch him but what can i do to help him get through the day, which he'll probably sleep through anyway and be happy when i get home? I want to add details because people have mentioned doggy day care, but this will be a recurring thing. My job requires me to work a normal shift 10-630, and i only get a half hour lunch, and im 20 minutes away from work, so I cant go home and back in time. I'd have to hire someone to come over daily and walk the dog but I dont know how much that would cost. He's been alone before, and usually i dont have a problem with him being alone 8-5 because i used to be 10 min away and i used to come home from lunch and take him out, but for some reason it bothers me because i'm further away...but i will have a camera on him, and i will give him those red toys where you can put peanut butter and treats inside which will give him time, but i'm assuming i'm not the only one with a 9-5 job and a dog, he wouldnt be the only dog in the world alone during work hours....right?
Need help with setting up my security system. Where can I find .wav customizable alerts? I own my own small business and wish to setup a security system. So I decided to buy a few wireless internet cameras and linked them with the internet connection at my store. My desktop computer at home is doing all the recording and has all the motion detecting/recording software on it and it is all tested and ready to go. The software I use allows me to play a sound when there is an intruder or motion detected at my store. I've setup speakers so that it can blare loudly when there's an intruder. The question I have is, where can I go to make customizable (automated) messages that I can play for an alert? I know I could simply find the basic alert messages on the internet, but I want something customizable and personal. I want it to say something like "Steven, there is an intruder in XYZ building..." and keep on repeating itself. I already have audio editing software that I can use to make it repeat itself, so that is not really the problem. I just want some kind of software where I can type in a message and the computer would make it into an automated sound file. The file format should be in .wav, but it really doesn't matter seeing as I can easily convert it into the right sound format. So I'm pretty much looking for software that can make robotic sounding customizable messages. Does anyone know the name of any software that can do that? If so, it would be tremendously helpful. Thank you in advance for your response.
Home surveillance...what would work for us...? Last weekend while bringing groceries into our condo, I had left our groceries right in front of our door. We share a hallway with 3 other people. I naturally bring the groceries in a few bags at a time. When I came back into the hallway I noticed my only plastic bag missing (which was all meat...really expensive steaks!) and a gallon of milk gone. One of my bastard neighbors took it! I knocked on each door and only the old woman next to me answered. I don't 'not' suspect her but...you never know. She didn't hear any noises or anything. So my husband is dead set on getting surveillance and security now because he really doesn't trust our neighbors. He thinks wireless cameras and a touch pad system. We cannot move right now... what types of security worked best for you? prices? suggestions?
I need help with creating a network for a small home.? have virgin cable broadband which is currently connected to the N1 Wireless Router (Part # F5D8231uk4). Every PC in the house (7 PC's) are going to have a Gigabit Desktop Network PCI Card which will have a cat6 patch cable into the cat6 wall socket, each wall socket is cabled with cat 6 cable, all cabling goes to a 24port patch panel. The patch panel is sat next to the wireless router. There are a few other things to connect to the wired network such as the Xbox 360 and a network camera for security in the garage. Obviously the N1 router only has 4 ports. So what is the best way to connect everything together? I already have: cat 6 cabling (all fitted) N1 Wireless Router (Part # F5D8231uk4) this will still be used for the laptops 24 port patch panel I need: a way to connect the patch panel to the network and the internet (16 port (or more) switch? or router?)<£100 <more if necessary a wired network camera (was thinking of Panasonic BL-C1 suggestions welcome)<£70 <more if necessary Gigabit Desktop Network PCI Card (was thinking of Belkin Part # F5D5005ea suggestions welcome)£15 <more if necessary I need to know how to connect everything a picture drawn would be cool :) and suggestions for each device i need and why you think that is the best options if you think i need to spend more or less on each item just say what you recommend.

My oldest son caught our neighbor hitting and spraying our dog through the fence while we are at work. HELP!? I am buying a camera to mount under the roof. Anyone have a suggestion on cheap security system that is wireless? Looking into the CD35VPW Vandal Proof - Color Dome Camera - Indoor/Outdoor...Our neighbors grandson that lives with her and her daughter pokes at our friendly "trained" black lab. Now our dog barks at them through the fence, and my son caught the grandma spraying him with pepper spray while my husband and I are @ work. Luckily it was windy and she missed his eyes. I gave him a good bath and lots of love. He is an inside dog after we get home, but I am worried she may poison him, or worse...so I am getting the security camera. Just wanted to know what all our rights are as far as taking action are concerned?

Network security setup help? Okay, so i own my own small business. I just want a camera with audio for recording of my staff. I am getting two Linksys WVC54GCA cameras because they are cheap and what i want. I will get a cheap wireless G router to connect them. However, i don't want to record on my PC because i don't want my staff to access it. I need to be able to store it on some type of Network storage device that i could remotely view from home. I found a DVR i could view remotely but i don't know if i could reocrd to it. It had what looked kind of like coxial cable hookups with a pin in the middle. In conclusion, i need a Network storage device or network DVR that i can view remotely and that i can record to over a network from my linksys WVC54GCA cameras

Is this a good computer? Okay, I've posted 2 other questions about this, but this is my final one. Im looking for a laptop for myself, a 14 year old 8th grader. I will use it greatly for school projects, pictures, editing those pictures, music and a downloadable game or two. I need a computer that runs very smoothly for the game and has a lot of storage for many programs. I will be using the laptop every day for the game (Combat Arms, a war game) and for school things and music and so on. I have to have a laptop, and the computer I'm looking at right now is called a Studio 15 by Dell. I've loaded it with some good things, and I'll post those in a moment. The price is very pricey, $2,194 because I've put on some of the best things into the laptop. I will be doing a plan though where I pay $66 a month. Plus, its no interest until October, 2009 and im hoping I can pay off the whole thing by then, and I think I can. So the question is, when you look at the information about the laptop that I've posted below, and you know the requirements I need, is this a good computer? Any comments or suggestions? Changes I should make? Thanks in advance! ;D This is all the information on the page. I hope it helps! Sorry if it looks confusing... Dell Studio laptop??? ? heyyy everyone .. I'm preparing to buy a laptop for the spring semester, and I have never had a good track record with laptops! Ive had 3 in the past 6 years, to which all have died on me in the first 1-2 years. Most of the time I get the blue screen of death multiple times and then it just .. dies lol. So a friend of mine reccommend buying a computer through Dell. I want a decent Laptop thats going to last me awhile if im going to be spending a considerable amount of money on one. Im not Computer savvy at alll!!! lol Also Dell comes with Windows vista but I hear contradicting opinons on it, that it takes up alot of memory and what not.And im incredibly comfortable with windows XP but I know Vista is the newest program... So after picking out a laptop this is what i chose, if anyone can give me any advice it would be so appreciated!! I heard that Sony's are well built and I was leaning toward the BZ model as it has a good processor and it also comes with a lisence for Vista and XP. Also it is a Business line and it won't be loaded with so much bloatware. I could easily add another GB of RAM for $10. So I figure it would be the best bet. Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the models as I can't find any reviews. What would you all recommend other then a sony for my price range.

Vista and Mac? Alright pretty much my question is should I get Apple 17-inch iMac • 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo • Watch DVDs/burn CDs • 17-inch WXGA+ display • Wireless-G/Bluetooth • 512MB of DDR2 SDRAM • Built-in iSight camera Software bundle: Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger ) iLife ’06 Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Test Drive iWork (30-day trial) Front Row Photo Booth Price: $999.99 With this I would probably get music from iTunes and an iPod later on (since those are the only two music things that will work with it). or Compaq Presario Desktop PC • Intel Pentium D 820 • 250GB hard drive • LightScribe-enabled • 1GB of DDR2 memory • Burns DVDs and CDs Software bundle: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium and Works 8 Norton® Internet Security 2007 (with 60 days of live update) Roxio Creator Adobe® Reader® 7 With a printer and 17 inch monitor Price:$739.97 With this I would get a Toshiba Gigabeat and Rhapsody You also have more options with this Vista PC.

What do you think of this idea?? Volunteers keep eye on border using their Web cams Sean Holstege The Arizona Republic Apr. 4, 2008 12:00 AM It's not just the government doing high-tech surveillance of the border anymore. And it doesn't take a huge defense contractor and a satellite, either. Two volunteer groups, one a splinter from the well-known Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, have cameras in Cochise County pointed at the Mexican border up to 200 yards away and at busy smuggling routes. Anyone with a fast-enough Internet connection can sign up to work the cameras remotely, although one of the groups first submits volunteers to a background check. The volunteers report any sightings of smugglers or immigrants to the Border Patrol. advertisement The small-scale operations may seem quaint, but the border groups maintain that their cameras, which transmit wirelessly to the Web, have led to the arrest of hundreds of border crossers in recent months. The efforts highlight how, in the groups' view, a fairly simple system can work as well as the government's approach, which is a sophisticated, high-tech satellite-surveillance operation called Project 28. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's "virtual fence" experiment was delayed eight months by glitches, and questions linger about how well the $20 million system works. Sen. John McCain called the project "a disgrace"; another Republican congressman introduced a bill to scrap the experiment. "We are building a model that already works better than Project 28," said Jon Healy, founder of the TechnoPatriots, a commercial venture and offshoot of the Minuteman group. Federal officials said they haven't seen the volunteer cameras and couldn't comment. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff insists that Project 28 near Sasabe is effective, although contractors are refining how the 28-mile pilot system of cameras and sensors beams data to Border Patrol agents via satellite. "I think this Project 28 will be good once we get to tweak it," Border Patrol spokesman Ramon Rivera said. "We want to see who's crossing the border, what they're carrying and if they have a mole on their face." Armchair volunteers The non-profit American Border Patrol, based in Sierra Vista, launched remote-controlled cameras on the border in 2005, allowing armchair volunteers to log in and view the border from the safety of their homes. Volunteers are given a background check before being allowed to work the cameras. Since November, the non-profit TechnoPatriots, based in Palominas, has operated a long-range camera that can be remotely panned, tilted and zoomed, plus a thermal camera that monitors the border by night. Volunteers must pay $10 when they sign up on the Web site. Healy said he plans to get more cameras, sound monitors, ground sensors and software that weaves it all together. His group says its volunteers have reported 160 sightings to the Border Patrol, resulting in 116 arrests. The Border Patrol could not confirm the number because it does not track whether callers belong to such groups. But agents said they are grateful for any help from the public. TechnoPatriots invites volunteers to sign up for 30-minute shifts to watch the Web, manipulate the cameras and report illegal border crossings. The volunteer groups say they can do the job more cheaply than Project 28 because their systems use high-speed wireless Internet, not satellites. "If I had the money Boeing had, there would not be one single person walking through there undetected," said Mike Christie, operations director for American Border Patrol. By day, the cameras show the windswept beige grass and brush landscape of Cochise County, punctuated occasionally by movements of people on smuggling trails. By night, volunteers watch a dark, murky image for the ghostly shape of humans emitting body heat. On a limited scale, the groups' efforts parallel those of the Border Patrol. For years, Border Patrol dispatchers have forwarded information from agents' observations, static cameras and sensors to roving agents via radio. The government's Secure Border Initiative, including Project 28, will add a network of cameras and sensors to help agents better know the situation in advance. Boeing contract The virtual fence is a string of towers that beam signals via satellite into the trucks of agents and the command center. The idea is for agents and supervisors to have common, precise information and to move cameras remotely to get a better read on border crossers. The problem is agents still find themselves in dead spots, and for months, government contractor Boeing Corp. had to work out the kinks in the relays. After accepting Boeing's work, Homeland Security agreed to pay the $20 million contract even though government auditors and Border Patrol Chief David Aguilar testified to Congress that Project 28 didn't meet the 95 percent detection standards. Homeland Security officials overseeing the project said the next phase will be pushed back three years as Boeing refines the technology. Still, officials insist the system is effective. Project 28 has resulted in 2,400 arrests in its first month of operation, agency spokeswoman Laura Keehner said. Border Patrol agents say it already gives them improved capability. Rivera said the technology can distinguish people from animals, count them and give agents a good idea if they are armed. The trick now is to get that information piped directly to their patrol trucks. Homeland Security went to Boeing looking to cover communication dead spots via satellite. Rivera acknowledges that wireless would work well but would also mean persuading property owners to allow easements to build and maintain cell towers. Based on the prices and ranges of equipment bought by volunteer groups, if cameras and cell towers were installed to cover the entire 1,950-mile border, it would cost roughly $40 million to $250 million. The government's technology plan for the border is estimated at $1.2 billion. I think i will join them
Shipping on Dell laptop.? I just bought a dell laptop today and it said I'd get it the 15th of July, I don't think that sounds right. Why would it take 37 days to get a laptop? I've heard people getting it in a week or a week and a half. I got a special laptop cover, but it said it would only delay it for a few days. I got this for 800 dollars because of coupon, could it maybe be that? I'm really just not sure, I just don't think 37 days sounds right. I'll try and post most of the things I bought, to check if it might be something I bought on my computer. -- Inspiron 1525 -- -- Intel® Core蒂 2 Duo T5550 (1.83GHz/667Mhz FSB/2MB cache) ----------------------- -- System Color -- -- Sea Sky ----------------------- -- Memory -- -- 4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz ----------------------- -- LCD Panel -- -- High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch display (1680x1050) ----------------------- -- Video Card -- -- Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 ----------------------- -- Hard Drive -- -- Size: 320GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM) ----------------------- -- Operating System -- -- Genuine Windows Vista® SP1 Home Basic Edition ----------------------- -- Network -- -- Integrated 10/100 Network Card ----------------------- -- Modem -- -- Integrated Modem ----------------------- -- Combo or DVD+RW Drive -- -- CD Writer / DVD player (Combo Drive) ----------------------- -- Sound Card -- -- High Definition Audio 2.0 ----------------------- -- Wireless Networking Cards -- -- Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g Mini-Card ----------------------- -- Camera -- -- Integrated 2.0M Pixel Webcam ----------------------- -- Office Productivity Software (Pre-Installed) -- -- Microsoft Works ----------------------- -- Anti-Virus/Security Suite (Pre-installed) -- ----------------------- -- Battery Options -- -- 28 Whr Lithium Ion Battery (4 cell) -- Labels -- -- Intel® Core蒂 2 Duo Processor ----------------------- -- Labels -- -- Windows Vista蒂 Basic -----------------------

miniature wireless security camera? Where could someone purchase a miniature wireless security camera that works decently? At least good enough to tell who's doing what. I have some strange, unexplainable things happening inside and outside my home and am trying to determine what is going on. I have located things for outside the home, but haven't came up with a affordable miniature wireless security camera or even a hidden camera of some sort for inside the home. Any Ideas?
